Rhi Hepple Naturopath

About Rhi

A whole-person approach to health, rooted in curiosity, nature and experience.

I'm Rhi — a Naturopathic Nutritionist, Naturopath and Ayurvedic Lifestyle Advisor.

For me, health has never been about following a set of rules or finding one perfect solution.

It's about understanding the individual in front of me — their history, their symptoms, their lifestyle and the things that make them feel well — and looking at how all of those pieces fit together.

After many years working with people and their health, I've learned that sometimes the most valuable thing we can do is step back, look at the bigger picture and ask a better question:

What is your body trying to tell you?

My journey

I know what it feels like to look healthy on the outside while knowing that something isn't right.

My journey into naturopathic health began from a very personal place.

In my early thirties, with two young boys, I found myself struggling with my own health. I was experiencing pain, digestive problems and a growing sense that my body wasn't working as it should.

I did what most of us do. I sought help, followed advice and tried to find an explanation for what was happening.

There were appointments, medication and attempts to manage individual symptoms, but I still didn't feel like myself. And sometimes the treatments created their own problems, leaving me with even more to try to understand.

I remember wondering, “Is this it? Is this just how I'm going to feel?”

That question became a turning point.

I started looking beyond the conventional approach I'd been following and became fascinated by nutrition, naturopathy and the body's own capacity to restore balance when given the right conditions and support.

The more I learned, the more things began to make sense.

I realised that health isn't simply about treating what is showing up on the surface. Nutrition, digestion, stress, sleep, hormones, lifestyle and our wider environment are constantly influencing one another.

And I experienced that shift in my own health.

Slowly, I began to feel like myself again.

Not a different version of me.
Not someone following a perfect health regime.

Just more me than I had been for a long time.

That experience changed the direction of my life.

What began as a search for answers became a passion for understanding how the body works and how we can support it naturally. I went on to study naturopathic nutrition and naturopathy, and continued my learning through herbal medicine and Ayurvedic principles.

I've now spent many years working with people and their health, but I never forget what it feels like to be the person sitting on the other side of the conversation — wondering why you're tired, why your digestion has changed, why you don't feel quite yourself, or why the things you've been told should help haven't really helped.

I understand that uncertainty.

And I think it is one of the reasons I care so deeply about looking beyond the obvious and helping people make sense of their own health.

Because sometimes you don't need someone to give you another list of things to do.

You need someone to listen, join the dots and help you understand where to begin.

What my journey taught me

Health is rarely as simple as the symptom we're trying to solve.

My own experience taught me to become curious.

To ask why? rather than simply what can we do about this symptom?

It taught me that two people can experience the same symptom for completely different reasons, and that what works beautifully for one person may not be right for another.

It also taught me that health isn't about doing everything perfectly. Sometimes the most helpful changes are surprisingly simple. Sometimes we need to look deeper. And sometimes the most important thing is to slow down, listen and give the body the right conditions to respond.

This is the philosophy I bring to my work today.

I don't see you as a collection of symptoms or a list of things that need fixing.

I see you as a whole person.

Your history matters. Your current circumstances matter. Your relationships, routines, stress, food, sleep, environment and the way you experience your own body all form part of the picture.

And that is why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

My job isn't to tell you exactly what you should be doing.

It's to help you understand what your body may need, why it may need it, and where to focus first.

Training & experience

A practice built on years of learning, experience and continued curiosity.

I've been working in the world of holistic health for over 20 years, and have spent the last 10 years working professionally as a naturopathic nutritionist.

My training began with naturopathic nutrition and has continued to evolve through naturopathy, herbal medicine and Ayurvedic lifestyle practices.

I'm naturally curious, and I believe that good practitioners never stop learning. Alongside my clinical work, I continue to invest in further education so that my knowledge keeps developing and I can bring together both traditional approaches and current nutritional understanding in a thoughtful, evidence-informed way.

My experience has also been shaped by working with people in very different settings — from one-to-one consultations to retreats, workshops and wellbeing programmes.

But perhaps the most important part of my experience is the thousands of conversations I've had with people about their health.

Every person teaches you something.

Every body is different.

And every consultation adds another layer to understanding how complex, individual and fascinating our health really is.

Life beyond the consultation

My work is deeply connected to nature — and to the simple things that help us feel well.

Living in the New Forest has become an important part of my own approach to health. I love being outside, walking, noticing the seasons change and making space to slow down.

I'm also happiest when I'm cooking, working with herbs, creating tea blends or sharing food around a table with family and friends.

These things might seem simple, but they are part of what I believe about health.

Wellbeing isn't created by what we do for an hour with a practitioner.

It's shaped by the small things we do every day — how we eat, sleep, move, rest, connect and spend our time.

Health is a relationship with your whole life, not another project to perfect.
